In 2017, Merlyn (founder of Tangan) worked with Wayan's family on a jewelry brand that aims to re-ignite the passion of jewelry amongs the villagers of Celuk, Bali after it's downfall the past decade. The collaboration was relatively short back then, but the friendship became stronger, and remains until this very moment.
Now, five years later, as the dream is still as vivid, they both decided on working together once again with the same passion - if not stronger; on this jewelry brand that doesn't only sell jewelries, but also to share stories.
Jalin Collection, the first collection made by Tangan is a remembrance of the joy they all felt, when they realized their paths not only crossed, but also intertwined.
